Early morning Doe eating by the road on my way back North. Looks like a little dog, compared to the size of the sign. I'm from North Florida and had never been to the southmost tip of our state, so just decided to add this leg after having already driven to O'town. I've seen plenty of whitetail before, but never full bucks the size of a poodle ha ha... Apparently lots of them get killed, because it's 35 mph (at night, 45 daytime) all around that particular Key, but I never saw any dead by the road. I did see probably 50 of them in total that morning, This doe was pretty large out of all I saw. I saw a buck which was even smaller than this doe, and looked like a small dog with antlers. The buck had 3 does with him and crossed the road in front of me before I could get the phone ready to film so I got this doe instead. Amazing animals!
