Tender Mercies
Today, I am thinking of my card-carrying, Southern Baptist brothers (Rick Warren, Henry Blackaby) and SBC sisters who are set apart to exercise spiritual gifts (with the blessing of their local churches). Whoever you may be, I hope this song I wrote years ago will lead you back to God's Word to read afresh the Gospel accounts of Christ's response to Pilate, Herod, soldiers, thieves, and others who heaped insults upon Him. He is a good role model for each one of us.
